Engineer In Training
LNV is seeking an Engineer In Training for our Austin Texas office.- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college.
- Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination.
- Work with a Project Manager to develop the design concepts of projects within the time constraints established in the contract and within the budget for the project.
- Assist the Project Manager by performing design analysis and calculations as required for evaluating project alternatives.
- Assist the Project Manager in writing technical engineering reports.
- Assist the Project Manager in establishing cost estimates and schedules for projects.
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing Change Orders, Pay Estimates, Status Reports, and Project Inspection.
- Assist the Project Manager by performing construction site visits to observe contractor's performance and compliance with bid documents.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager from time to time.
