Experience
Mr. Perez was employed with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) from December of 1997 to August of 2005. During this time, he worked on a wide variety of projects in which he acquired a wide range of design expertise. Mr. Perez has experience in roadway rehabilitation, roadway reconstruction, complex highway design, bridge layouts, traffic control plans, signing and striping layouts, construction pollution mitigation plans, hydrologic studies, basic and complex hydraulic design, and bridge scour evaluation and analysis.

From December of 1997 to April of 2001, Mr. Perez worked in the Central Design Office as an Engineer Assistant II for the Corpus Christi District Office. He was promoted to Engineer Assistant IV during this tenure.

From April of 2001 to May of 2002, he worked in construction inspection for the Corpus Christi Area Office as an Engineer Assistant IV.

From June of 2002 to August of 2005, Mr. Perez returned to the Geometric Design Office (formerly - Central Design Office) as an Engineer Assistant IV, but soon acquired his professional engineering license. As a result, he was promoted to Transportation Engineer II.

Mr. Perez has over 8 years experience in TxDOT design projects including roadways, bridges, drainage systems, and traffic engineering.
