Background and General Experience
Mr. DeLeon has over 17 years experience in the
engineering and construction field. Mr. Deleon has been involved in a variety of
construction and engineering study projects.
Water Treatment
Construction projects include the City of
Corpus Christi O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant – Wash Water System, Phase
2: 3.5 million dollar project consisting of a filter to waste system and all
associated instrumentation and electrical appurtenances. City of Corpus
Christi O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant – High Service Pump Building No.
2 Pump Modifications: on a 3.5 million dollar project consisting of
demolition, fabrication, and installation of 4-1,500 horsepower pumps including
a variable frequency drive. This also included electrical and SCADA upgrades
for remote operation. City of Corpus Christi
O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant – Chemical Feed One piping Replacement
project: a 1.5 million dollar project consisting of chemical and electrical
system upgrades. City of Corpus Christi O.N. Stevens Water Treatment
Plant – Filter Replacement Project: a 1.0 million dollar project consisting of a
filter replacement and air scour system upgrade on 22 filters and SCADA
construction. Pettus Municipal Utility District: Water System
Improvements: Construction Inspector on a Texas Community Development Program
Grant Project consisting of construction of a new Reverse Osmosis System.
City of Falls City Water System Improvements: Construction Inspector
on a Texas Community Development Program Grant Project including cooling tower
construction, emergency generator and pump house rehabilitation.
Wastewater Treatment
City of Corpus Christi Oso Water Reclamation
Plant Phase II –Clarifiers No.2, 3 & 4 Improvements as a construction inspector.
City of Kingsville Modifications to the 3.0 MGD Plants: Mr. DeLeon served as Interim
Construction Inspector/Construction Manager on a Texas Water Development Board
funded project consisting of an ultra-violet disinfection system, stainless
steel wedge wire drying beds, and various plant modifications and the City of
Kingsville Modifications to the 1.0 MGD (South) Wastewater Treatment Plant:
The TWDB project consisted of a new UV system. Mr. DeLeon also served as
construction inspector on the emergency rehabilitation of the 70Ft primary
clarifier at the 1.0MGD South Plant in 2000.
Water Distribution
City of Gregory
Water Plant Improvements: Mr. DeLeon served as Construction Inspector on a
Texas Community Development Program funded rehabilitation and replacement of
water system pumping facilities. City of Sinton
Water and Sewer Line Extension Project: Mr.
DeLeon served as Construction Inspector on 3,300 linear feet of sewer line
construction and 1,375 linear feet of water line construction. City of
Kingsville North Water Loop: Mr.
DeLeon served as a superintendent on the installation of 5,000 linear feet of
waterline. This project was a Texas Community Development Program funded
project.
Wastewater Collection
City of Gregory
1998 Wastewater System Improvements: Mr. DeLeon
served as Construction Inspector on a Texas Community Development Program Grant
Project consisting of a new lift station and 2,300 linear feet of sewer line.
Town of Refugio 1996 Water and Wastewater Improvements: Mr. DeLeon served
as Construction Inspector on a Texas Community Development Program Grant Project
consisting of lift station rehabilitation, 2,000 linear feet of sewer line and
force main construction. Town of Refugio 1996 Water and Sanitary Sewer
Improvements: Mr. DeLeon served as Construction Inspector on relocation of
10,000 linear feet water distribution and wastewater collection system on a
United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development funded project along
US Highway 77.
Street and Drainage
City of Corpus Christi Mansheim Area Drainage
Improvements. Wooldridge Road Bridge Replacement. C-4 Street Re-surfacing
Upriver Road, Ayers and Gollihar project inspection. Town of Refugio 1996 Street
and Drainage Improvements, 1998 Street Improvements, 2000 Street Improvements
and 2004 Street Improvements.
Engineering Studies
Mr. DeLeon has also participated in several
engineering studies including the City of Corpus Christi Elevated Storage Tank
Inspection & Rehabilitation. The City of Corpus Christi Padre Island
Desalination Plant Feasibility Analysis. The City of Corpus Christi ONSWTP
Facility Analysis including the Water System Interactive Hydraulic model and
Analysis. Primary field work consisted of Fluoride tracer sampling and data
logger collection. Wastewater Study work consisting of manhole and pipe
inspection on several I/I and SSES projects including the City of Corpus Christi
Oso Basin Collection System Recommendation.
