Experience
Mr. Saenz began his career with LNV Engineering immediately after graduating from Texas A&M - College Station with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a specialty in Transportation. Mr. Saenz has several years of experience in the fields of transportation and drainage design. Mr. Saenz has worked on projects for several different city, county, and state entities, including, but not limited to, TxDOT, the City of Corpus Christi, the City of Portland, and Nueces County. The majority of his projects involve bridge and culvert replacements, bridge rehabilitations, drainage improvements, traffic control plans, urban streets, subsurface drainage systems, and roadway widenings. Mr. Saenz has had extensive training offered through Bentley, TxDOT, and TEEX, which has made him proficient in several hydrologic, hydraulic, roadway design, and project scheduling programs such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, WinStorm, Geopak, and SureTrak. Some of his local bridge projects include the rehabilitation and rail replacement of the Cayo Del Oso Bridge on Ocean Drive, Wooldridge Road Bridge Replacement at Mary Carroll Ditch, and Bear Lane Bridge Replacement at Kelly Ditch. In all, Mr. Saenz has designed over 40 bridge and culvert replacements within the counties of Nueces, San Patricio, and Karnes. Other notable projects include the hazard elimination and roadway widening of FM 102 in Wharton County, the surface and subsurface drainage design for US 181 Frontage Roads in Gregory, Texas, the street widening and drainage upgrade to Wooldridge Road in Corpus Christi, Texas, and other various roadway and drainage improvement projects within the counties of Nueces, Aransas, and Refugio.
